As a yoga teacher, I have a responsibility to my students, to my own teachers and to myself to create and sustain a sacred and safe environment and enjoyable and life enhancing yoga.
In the past 10 years, I have practiced several styles of Yoga which have all influenced my teaching.
I teach Hatha Yoga in a restorative and gentle way in classes for students with a need for releasing stress and anxiety, the elderly, and those with various medical conditions.
I also teach a more dynamic and more flowing Hatha Yoga with a mix of dynamic Vinyasas with meditative and calming postures and breathing exercises.
This style is better suited to sports people, dancers and more advanced students improving their strength, balance and flexibility.
I am also working with my teachers Su Sareen and John Stirk. I am studying with them the art of Vanda Scaravelli inspired Yoga. I bring this style in my classes to help the focus on the spine, the gravity and the freedom of the breath.
I always will be studying, learning from my masters and teachers all the rest of my life to make sure I am bringing to my students the best of what practicing Yoga can give physically and spiritually.
